Halloween 2010

We had another fun year going trick-or-treating with the kids. Maw-maw joined us as we went around their neighborhood. The houses are closer together and it is less tiring for the kids. The boys are getting better at saying thank you and not complaining when they get the "forbidden" bubble gum as the candy. Charles wanted to be obiwan again well it was an obiwan costume but he wanted to be called Luke, this time with his complete costume (last year we forgot his shirt and had to improvise), Ryan had a cool looking Scooby-Doo costume that fit his personality perfectly, and Amy had a ladybug jacket and some black leggings that worked perfectly for a ladybug costume. She even had cute little rosy cheeks and didn't need any makeup at all. If you can believe it, I only spent $1.00 on all three of the kids' costumes this year. Amy's costume was mostly real clothes and the jacket was given to us by her aunt Leslie who found it at a garage sale. Charles' was reused from the year before and even then I found it second-hand for about $3.00. Ryan is the only one that I sepnt money on and got his for $1.00 at a yard sale earlier in the summertime. Amazing! Not sure I'm going to ever be able to top that again.
